This pretty picture is from the January issue of the Finnish Talo & Koti magazine. This Danish apartment is full of light and beautiful old furniture. When looking at pictures of people’s homes in magazines and design blogs I’m often drawn to this style - white, simple, calm rooms that still don’t look too modern or cold. Looking at these pictures I always wonder where all the books, DVDs and such are hidden in these clutter-free homes or do the owners simply have less stuff around than we do. Next time we move we’ll have to find a home that has an extra room for a library. We both like to read and watch movies so we have a lot of books and DVDs but I hate having them all on display in the livingroom, it makes the room look cluttered.
