Good Sewing Machine?
Only yesterday morning I wrote that it would be great to own a sewing machine and start learning sewing for real. Last night we started to browse different sewing machine manufacturer’s web sites. The sewing machine doesn’t have to be state of the art; instead we are looking for a basic (preferably mechanical) sewing machine which would be reliable and long-lasting and which wouldn’t be too expensive. We are thinking about either Husqvarna Viking or Brother. We are going to town today to find out more and to look into different sewing machines. We are also considering a second-hand sewing machine as an option.
I was looking for information on Viking 215S machines. I recently purchased one at an auction for $150.00, now since I can find anything on the web regarding this machine, I’m wondering if I made a mistake and paid too much. What do you think? obtw your cat is so pretty. I have adopted 6 cats and 2 dogs. My husband said OK 8 is enough.
