Pretty and cheery, feminine and flowery. Here are a few of my favorite things right now in lovely spring colors. I’d love to have that knitted top from iiS! Columbine – Original Signed Fine Art Photograph from Alicia Bock, Lotus Flower Necklace from Charmed and Dangerous, Colette 3 Layered Pendant from Laura Ashley, Balance Tea Infuser in Teafrog from Violet, Backyard Robin Teapot from Anthropologie, Granado Tealight from Zara and Solveig Knit Top from iiS.

These shades of blue, green and lilac are just delicious! The mood in these pictures is both delicate and fun and the light is beautiful, it makes me yearn for long summer evenings.

We may have ran out of pots the other day when planting herbs but it doesn’t mean that you should. Here are just a few of the great herb pots that are available out there. Herb pot from Aarikka, Garden in a Bag from Branch and Sagaform Herb Pot from Huset-Shop.

Here are a few of my favorite images from Apartment Therapy. They’re all a bit different but they reflect my current taste in decorating well and are a big inspiration in helping me find my own style of decorating.

I’m so happy it’s Saturday! This week went by like a whirlwind, we were both busy at work – Minna was out of town on a business trip for a few days and I was working overtime a couple of days. Today we’ve been enjoying our day off – sleeping late, eating well and doing all the household work that was ignored during the week. It’s so nice to have a tidy and clean home again! We’ve also been planting seeds, hoping to have a little herb garden on our windowsill soon. We’re not much of gradeners but we’re happy to learn.

We ran out of pots to plant the seeds in so, as you can see, we had to make do with what we found in the kitchen. Hopefully in the near future these pots will have mini tomatoes, Lemon Balm and Sage growing in them.

Here is some Lemon Balm and Sage that we planted a few weeks ago, it’s starting to grow nicely.
