My Obsessions
Holly at decor8 wrote a fun post about all the obsessions she has right now and asked her readers to share their current obsessions with her. So I decided to share a few of my current obsessions with you.
For a while now I’ve been absolutely obsessed with house plants. Especially different kinds of succulents but also with house plants in general. Taking care of the plants is a great way to cope with stress and they are just so lovely looking and full of life, I love looking around the apartment and seeing all that green. Today I treated myself to a beautiful new plant (above), it’s the same kind of plant we already have on the kitchen shelf, only much smaller.
Favorite music, new and old. I bought this cute new Jenny Lewis CD today while in town, Tegan and Sara’s The Con has been one of my favorite albums for a while now but I never can get enough of it. I’m not a musical person myself, I can’t sing or play an instrument but I do love to listen to music (and when I’m home alone I love singing along to it, even if I do it very very badly and out of tune).
Jenni Rope’s work. I have written about her lovely Any Plans For The Weekend? book before and last week I bought this tiny Wednesday book by her. I adore her style of drawing so much!
I’m also a bit obsessed with updating my favorites on flickr. There is so much inspiration out there!
One last thing I am obsessed with is light! Daylight, that is. Summer isn’t my favorite season but I do adore all that light, it’s easy to take photographs in natural light. And as much as I am enjoying the autumn colors in nature and being able to wear comfy and warm clothes I miss the light so much.

Holly’s post was great! Everyone had great obessions.I wrote I was obessed with flats, and rain boots(and a few other things) and today it is pouring out, so I got to wear my hot pink rain boots. I might even splash in a few puddles, on my way home from work. Lovely blog by the way!
Piti vain sanomani, että jotenkin älyttömän kivoja kuvia ja tuossa ylhäällä nuo etusivun uudet kuvat myös, tosi kiva yhdistelmä!
Niin ja jos obsessioista puhutaan, niin mun obsessioita tällä hetkellä ovat mekkojen ompelu ja siivoaminen :D Ja aloitan muuten huilunsoiton tässä kohtapuoliin, toivottavasti jaksan harjoitella positiivisen pakkomielteisesti.
Nuo rehut on kausittainen pakkomielle mullekin. Mulla on semmonen outo ajatusmaailma, että mitään elävää (suht. nättiä, tai okei tosi rumaakaan, paitsi rikkikset) kasvia ei voi hävittää. Niinpä kyllästyttyäni olkkarissa olleisiin epämääräisiin kasveihin, päätin hävittää ne, ja hankkia kolme jotain samanlaista rinnakkain siihen paikalle. Juu hävitin ne keittiön ruokapöydän päätyyn! Keittiön ikkunalaudalla on jo niin paljo kasveja ettei siihen mahtunut…siinäkin on mm. kolme keskenään samanlaista saintpaulikkia, mutta mitään niistäkään ei voi hävittää a, koska ne on kukkinu koko kesän jokainen b, mikael on saanu sen kasvin alun joskus 2 -vuotiaana. Kastelematta en voi tarkoituksella jättää mitään kasvia, vaikka tarkoituksena oliskin siis tappaa se. Jos ei kukaan niitä adoptoi, joudun ehkä murhahommiin! *kyynel* Pihalla onnistun tahallaan ja tahattomasti (nyyh se yksikin kärhö) tappamaan erinäisiä kasveja.
Tällä hetkellä muita pakkomielteitä on hääpukujen vahtaaminen netistä (ei kovin ajankohtainen aihe kuitenkaan), samoin eri ihmisten stalkkaaminen esim. galleriassa. Bubble peli, ja hilda mummon kaurakeksit. Ja tietenkin tsatsiki. Se on jo enemmän kuin pakkomielle. En vain keksi enää ylisanaa sille.
