Grey Afternoon
Can you believe how grey and dark it’s getting already? I know I complain about this a lot but it’s like autumn snuck up on me and I still can’t believe it’s really here. It’s been a rainy and grey day over here, no sun in sight, and now it’s already getting dark outside. It all just makes you want to stay in, curled on the sofa, knitting or reading, or to go to bed early.
What about you? How do you feel about this time of the year, when it gets darker and colder outside? Do you have any good tips how to fight the grey days and find more energy during this time? Blogging, both updating ours and reading others’, is one of the important things that bring light to even the greyest autumn and winter days for me.

hei harmauteen! ihania kuvia, varsinkin tuo karkkisydän! tänään on ollut kyllä joku aivan järkyttävä harmaus! mutta täällä on aina mukava käydä piristymässä, olen samaa mieltä että kauniit jutut (joita blogeista löytyy) kyllä piristävät aina!
Mulla on Niklaksen kirkasvalolamppu ruokapöydän kulmalla, ja kyl musta tuntuu, että se vaikuttaa mielialaan. Tänäänki oli tosi synkkä ja sateisen harmaa aamu, mutta lampusta tulee niin paljon valoa, että melkein luulee että ulkona paistaa aurinko. Ja ei oo sitten koko päivää saamaton ja väsyny olo, vaan saa tehtyä hommia ihan hyvin kunhan ensin herää. Ei kai mulla muita kikkakolmosia oo, muuta ku että teetä ja glögiä kuluu hirveet määrät. :) Terkkuja!
God tell me about it! By 2pm it’s already dark and right now the sky is completely black! Living at the arctic circle doesn’t make it easier either because the next two months are practically night all day long. :( I find that these are the months that I really start craft projects and do major organizing and cleaning in the house. I know everyone waits for Spring but I like to get ahead! Especially with the hectic holiday season it’s important for me to have control of my life (household) so you’ll find me making dinners and sauces/jams and freezing them.
I also really thought about spending some time doing this again, but unfortunately no time!

Oh, such pretty pictures! The Nikon, I suppose? ;) I keep taking many photos with mine too… Came back from my holiday with over 500 pictures, how terrible is that! ;)
