I was tagged by Sylvie to tell 8 things about myself, so here we go…
1. Those of you who read our blog regularly already know that my favorite artist is Ashley G. I absolutely adore her work! The colors are always so lovely and the characters cute and soulful. Above is our latest purchase from her Etsy shop, waiting to be framed and hung on the wall.
2. I love Gossip Girl. And America’s Next Top Model. (Don’t judge me, please.)
3. I am currently looking for work. It can be frustrating, to say the least.
4. My favorite Moomin book is Moominvalley in November.
5. In the future I’d like to study photography or maybe become a florist. Or something entirely else.
6. This song (and video) by The Ditty Bops never fails to put a smile on my face.
7. In high school I spent a year in Wisconsin, USA as an exchange student.
8. I hate folding laundry. Folding and putting clean laundry into the closet is to me the most tedious job there is. So that is why in the image above Lissu doesn’t sleep on the bed like you might imagine from the bedsheet under her, but on the top of a big pile of clean laundry. Yes, I am ashamed of myself, as I should be.

OMG the laundry! You have no idea how much I love that you wrote this because it’s the exact same thing I do. I manage to do several loads of laundry (with kids you have to!) but organizing it and putting it away is another story. I always fold everything immediately but I can never push myself to put them away. I have no idea why.

I’d love to study photography as well…
And what about sorting out black socks… Mission impossible. After laundry I always collect them in a bag. Then when I need a clean pair (leaving to work in a rush) I turn over the whole thing and try to find matching ones in panic. Story of my life.
BTW I was surfing at Etsy.com yesterday. What a great place to find interesting pieces of art. Thanks for sharing!

I love Ashley G too! My partner got me one of her original paintings for my birthday. I now live close to her also. Maybe I’ll get to meet her some day. I’m “She’s Got Moxie” on flickr.
