Weekend Flowers
On Saturday we bought red tulips to celebrate the weekend with. Everything feels just a bit more special with fresh flowers in the house. We’ve had a lovely weekend, a perfect balance of time spent with friends, time spent together, time spent alone. I hope you are enjoying these spring days too!

Yes! Since it’s not looking as spring-like as I’d like here, I picked up a couple of bunches of daffodils last week. They were so cheery and so nice to come home to–but now your photos have me wanting tulips, my favorites! Sometimes flowers can seem like sort of a splurge, but they are such mood lifters.
Your house looks beautiful, and I love those kinds of weekends where everything feels balanced in terms of time, and you get a lot of good things done. I also love fresh flowers in my house~ it does make things feel a little more special.

Ooohh, I just brought red tulips too and have them in my hallway so I can see them when I get home. My plan is to try and maintain a constant supply of fresh flowers…they really do make such a difference! Just discovered your blog by the way and really love it. Your house looks beautiful.
