Thrifted

Minna and I love to go to thrift stores and charity shops together. Right now we’re looking for a sideboard or a bookshelf for the livingroom (we’ll know it when we see it!) but in the meantime I’m happy to add to my small collection of vintage dishes. Here are my latest thrift store finds, two vintage Arabia saucers and the orange tray, which I thought was just fun. The black and white saucer is handpainted and I just adore the pattern, while the other one is this light greyish blue color that I’ve been recently obsessed with.
Sometimes I think it might be fun to open a little Etsy shop to sell some of my thrift store finds. While thrifting I often see more lovely things than I can justify buying for our home but if I could then pass on those finds to others… Although I don’t know if others are quite as obsessed with vintage Arabia plates like I am! Anyway, beginning my new studies soon this isn’t the time to start yet another new project but maybe later I’ll come back to this idea.

Whoa, those are gorgeous. I love that black and white plate… not to mention that orange tray!
The tray, WTF! More than cool, it’s übercool.
tartteeko mun edes hihkaista, että ihania ovat! mulle vois alkaa välittämään noin ihania lautasia :) paljonko nuo maksoi?
ooooh you should, if you sell that orange tray I’ll buy it!
Love the black/white! I always love a good etsy shop… you could always just try it.
Ditto. I would be an etsy customer for sure. (I would also happily pay extra postage ;-))
these are beautiful, katja! and i vote yes on the etsy shop!
I would love an etsy shop from you. Only thing is you have to agree to ship to the US. I would cry to see all these things I wanted to buy and could not.
Love these finds the black and white dish is gorgeous! Yes please open an etsy store! I’d love the opportunity to buy some pieces!
Super cute black and white plate!
Does the orange tray have any markings on the back?
Love that little black and white plate, in fact, love your collection of Arabia bowls and plates!
An esty store sounds great too~ I’d love to get my hands on some of the fabrics and vintage finds that’s not available in Canada. =)
I see there is a lot of cool vintage in Finland
