Blue & Green
Once in a while I get a new color crush, recently I’ve been enamored with orange and pink and then with black and white. But after a while those crushes fade and I always return to my first loves -Â green and blue. While other colors are fun for a change it’s green and blue that feel like home to me. I was reminded of this again when I (once again) made new pillowcases for the livingroom and instantly fell in love with the room again (we had been going through a bit of a rough spot). I got the blue fabric from Marimekko (on sale for 10 Euro/metre, one metre was enough for two pillowcases) and the green one we bought from Ikea sometime last winter.
I have had a color crush for a while now that I call “seafoam & lemongrass”. So, I think we have the same obsession:) The pillow cases are beautiful!
I love how you mix patterns and colors. It’s very elegant yet eclectic.
This is by far my favourite color combination too. It’s mild but yet very prominent. Simply beautiful. I adore the upper photo.
