lissu-sleeping

It’s been a long week, still one day to go and then thankfully it’s the weekend. We’re planning to take it easy and visit family. I’ll also try to learn from Lissu and get lots of sleep. And any chance I get I’ll be listening to this. Have a good weekend – see you next week!

Ps. Thank you for your comments on my last post! It looks like you’d like to see a visual wishlist every now and then so look out for one soon!

Sometimes you see something and you can’t get it out of your mind. That’s exactly what happened to me with the Cosmic Crochet card by Lart C. Berliner (from Cut + Paste). I included the card in one of my visual wishlists over a year ago and ever since it’s been on my mind. Now I’m happy to say that I finally ordered one for myself and it’s as beautiful as I expected it to be. It reminds me of the dark winter evenings when the sky is black and filled with stars.

And speaking of wishlists, I stopped making them a while ago now but have been recently thinking if I should make one every once in a while. What do you think, would you like to see one every now and then or do you see enough lovely products in other blogs already?

The beautiful and vibrant early autumn colors are fading away and so is the daylight. I know that it happens every year but every time it takes me some time to get used to it. I know that there is beauty in this time of the year too, somedays I just have to look a little harder to find it.

Can you believe it’s soon 2010? Have you bought a new calendar for the new year yet? I spend a lot of time at my desk so I didn’t want any old boring wall calendar but wanted to buy something really lovely to bring a little inspiration to my days. I’ve been a big fan of Catherine Campbell’s aka My Folk Lover’s work for some time now and her 2010 calendar was exactly what I had been looking for. The artwork is so beautiful it would be a terrible shame to throw away the calendar pages after each month is gone so I’m already planning to frame some of my favorites later on.
