Rearranging Art

My old computer died a few weeks ago so it was finally time to get a new one, something I’ve been wanting a long time but couldn’t justify buying while my aging laptop was still working. Getting a new computer made me want to redecorate my side of our small home office which then led me to rearrange the art in the upstairs hallway (which used to look like this). Bringing something new into your home always seems to start off a chain reaction, doesn’t it? Now I am thinking about how to finish decorating the bedroom, we’ve hardly done anything to it since we painted it in the summer. On the right is a peek from the bedroom doorway into the tiny hallway, I’ll try to take a better picture soon so you can see the art more clearly.

Oo, hieno tietokone! Ja näyttää muutenkin kivalta teidän työhuoneessa. Mistä tuo valkoinen lamppu on? Itse olen katsellut tuollaista pitkään, tai no en varsinaisesti katsellut vaan haaveillut. Mutta en ehkä haluaisi valkoista… Luultavasti päädyn Ikean metallinväriseen lamppuun. :)
This is a beautiful arrangement of art – just love it. I need to be brave and try an arrangement myself like this – I seem to get bogged down in finding the right size frames to fit the prints and never get beyond this!
Thanks for sharing.
Congrats on your new mac! I have just upgraded to the same model. You cant beat apple!
Aw, it’s a shame — you just missed their new upgraded 21.5 and 27 inch models. But it looks nice and homey, for sure!
Looks so lovely! That new computer is fabulous!
Yay for the new computer! I LOVE that Tegan and Sara poster – can I ask where its from? – Sarah
Congrats on the new Mac! I love how effortlessly you change things around in your home!
Lol, yes buying something does set off a chain reaction.
