Hello, March!

March is here and for me that means that it’s time to start looking forward to spring. Outside it’s still snowy and white but the bright spring colors in our kitchen make the wait a bit easier. It’s been a really nice winter but now I’m looking for the first signs of spring and for the first green to appear in nature after so many months. Until then I’m enjoying the potted herbs we bought for the kitchen, they’re such an easy and inexpensive way to bring a bit of green inside.

Your kitchen looks so bright and spring-y!!!I really do love the back tiles, cabinets and wooden counters, they look great.
Your kitchen is looking lovely and spring like! We had sun, blue skies and 9 degrees for our first day of March here, looking very promising!
Love the 70’s radio-clock, your countertop, the towel, all the white, all the green… everything !
Such a lovely corner in your kitchen. Those herbs look delicious.. a little garden in your home.
Lovely corner with all those fresh herbs….would love to go to dinne…hahaha.
It’s been an amazing winter; so many pretty and snowy days. March makes you turn the thoughts towards springtime though. And what could be a better way to start spring than from inside with a little herb garden! Lemon balm is my favorite:)
Love the old, red clock-radio! Bright accents like that are always so fun!
oh that radio…is so cool
Is that radio also an alarm clock? If so, where did you get it? I’ve been looking for something like that for EVER!
Thanks everyone! :)
Janelle – the clock radio is a thrift store find, Minna found it years ago so I’m sorry I can’t help you more. The clock doesn’t work anymore, only the radio but we don’t mind.
Love the fresh accents in your kitchen, especially the yellow-white towel.
BTW, what kind of plant is the one on the left in the bottom pic?
