Nestled In

Guess what? This is our post number 200! We started this blog back in November just before we moved in together. We wanted to write about starting our life together under the same roof and about making this apartment our home. This is also a space for us to share images of interiors that inspire us and all the wonderful and interesting art and products that catch our eye. I love interior decorating and art and crafts and find great inspiration in reading blogs dedicated to design and making a home of your own, of creating and expressing yourself. We’re happy with how our home is coming along, decorating and planning and the odd little projects are something we enjoy doing together. And starting this little home blog has been such a nice experience for us and we feel so lucky to have even found some readers and getting to know new people. So to celebrate this post number 200 we wanted to give away 3 cool postcards from our Advice to sink in slowly postcard book. We updated our links page yesterday, you can find links to our favorite home and interior decorating blogs there as well as a few of our favorite shops. Like Shiny Squirrel, where you can find Alyson Fox’s amazing work. Here are a couple of images of her original work from Shiny Squirrel and prints available at Keep Calm Ltd. I am a huge fan of Alyson Fox’s work. I love her style, especially those beautiful and interesting female characters she draws.

Our blog has been experiencing a lot of spam-commenting during the past few months. We have decided to change the commenting process a bit. From now on, the comment author who has a previously approved comment can comment freely. New comment author’s first comment is held for moderation before it’s published. We are sorry for any inconvience and hope that this does not put off anyone commenting for the first time.

We decided it’s time for a change here at Nestled In. So we updated the About Us page and changed the layout of our blog. We are still using the same greens which have been part of Nestled In since the beginning of the web site, but the structure and the header were updated. We hope you all enjoy this new fresh and light look!

We’re going to take a little break from blogging to enjoy the long Easter weekend but we’ll be back next week. Untill then, I hope you have a nice weekend and remember to take time to relax and do things you enjoy the most. Let’s hope we’ll have nice and sunny spring weather to enjoy!
