Nestled In

August is always such a weird month - at one hand you’re trying to savor every last bit of summer and enjoy the sun and the summer feeling but at the same time your thoughts wander into the upcoming autumn and all that it has to offer. But I’m trying not to rush things and to enjoy the last weeks of summer and that is why the inspiration for today’s little product round-up came from the cheerful summer colors that I love.

It’s the simplest things that make a happy life but sometimes it’s easy to forget that. I am often too impatient, focusing on all the wrong things and forgetting to live in the present and be content with all that I already have. I thought a little reminder for this Monday was in order so I put together this little round-up of lovely products that offer simple guidance. Skinny laMinx is the Etsy store of designer and illustrator Heather Moore from South Africa. Summer Day in dry grass dish towel (above) is my favorite from all the beautiful products in her Etsy store. The design is beautiful and the color is perfect! I also love the Specimens table napkin in both grey and yellow (below).

Here are some of my new Etsy favorites. This little ceramic bowl from Paloma’s nest looks beautiful and it’s message would be a good reminded for me as I feel like I am always struggling with having enough patience. What a cute choker from kjoo, I love those colors! And how lovely is this copper grace necklace from Lauren Haupt of Local Library? Dazeychic at Studio Mela has come out with the Break the routine print in a new great color, I love it!
